About Us
Who We Are
The Peer Educators are a team of students specially trained to promote the mental health and well-being of Berry College's student body. We are supervised by the Senior Counselor of the Counseling Center and collaborate with a variety of campus groups to provide up-to-date information on a variety of topics that affect college students.
Why We Do It
The Peer Education Program's mission is to empower students through education, advocacy, and campus- wide engagement so that students can make decisions that promote well-being. Our team believes in fostering physical, mental, and emotional health to help our community thrive here at Berry and beyond.

Hey y'all! My name is Teagan (she/her), and I am a senior psychology major and family studies minor from Peachtree City, GA. This is my second year as a peer educator and I am super excited to show y'all some awesome programs we have planned for this year! I am super passionate about athlete mental health, suicide prevention, alcohol safety, and so many more topics! In my free time I love to hang out with friends and go sit by the cows! I am also on the golf team here at Berry. If you see me around campus, please reach out and say hi! I love to meet new people all around campus!

Hey y'all! My name is Mollie Martin (she/her) and I am a junior Biology major with a concentration in Wildlife, Ecology, and Conservation, and I am from Jesup, GA. This is my second year as a peer educator and I am so excited to continue sharing awesome, educational programs with the Berry community! Some topics I'm passionate about include: body image, healthy relationships, stress management, and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. When I'm not in class, you can find me enjoying the nature and wildlife on campus, reading, or competing in tournaments with the Berry College Forensics Union! Psychology and Religion/Philosophy Double Major
Hey buddies :) My name is Sydney Edwards and I am a junior Psychology and Religion/Philosophy double major with a concentration of Biblical and Christian Studies. This is my first year as a Peer Educator and I beyond excited to work on this team! I am very passionate about mental health education and want to work as a trauma counselor in the future with children and adults. Specific topics I am passionate about include suicide/self harm prevention and recovery, body image, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, anxiety, and much more.
